You Need To
For cookies:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
For rolling:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, combine unsalted butter, all-purpose flour and powdered sugar, stir until well combined
- Add vanilla and salt and mix until smooth
- Stir in the chocolate chips, if the dough is too soft chill it until you can work it easily with your hands
- Scoop into balls, about 1 tablespoon each and place on prepared cookie sheet
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until bottoms are just slightly brown
- Let cool for a couple minutes then roll in powdered sugar until coated
- Place on rack to cool completely and roll in powdered sugar one more time to give it a thick coating
- Store cookies in an airtight container
